Colorado College Alum Joey Crabb and the Hartford Wolfpack were swept out of the AHL playoffs last night losing 3-1 to the Manchester Monarchs in the Calder Cup Easter Conference Finals.

Cody Lampl isn't the only Colorado College alum currently battling it out in the playoffs of their respective leagues. Joey Crabb, who is playing for the Hartford Wolfpack, is currently down 0-2 in the AHL Eastern Conference Finals to the Los Angeles King's top farm club and the AHL regular season champion Manchester Monarchs.
Despite another outstanding effort from Richard Bachman (39 saves on 40 shots) the Oklahoma City Barons failed to keep their playoff season alive losing to the Utica Comets 1-0 in game 7.
It's always great to see people you grew up with and former teammates enjoying success in their hockey careers. Chad Nehring was a teammate of Cody Lampl with the Idaho Steelheads and grew up just outside of Matt Zaba's hometown of Yorkton, Saskatchewan.
Behind another solid performance from former Colorado College Tiger standout Richard Bachman, the Oklahoma City Barons were able to stave off elimination and force a game 7 against the Utica Comets.
