It was our first game back at the Broadmoor World Arena this weekend. Colorado College opened up their season with a 6-2 exhibition win over the University of Calgary. It was a little weird watching warm ups from the bench and the game from the press box, but it brought back a lot of great memories.
The weekend started off great for Cody Lampl and the Fischtown Pinguins. They won both of their games to open the DEL2 season with Lamps scoring the game winning goal in their home opener. Lamps and the team are off to a great start and has been fully embraced by the fans and the city of Bremerhaven. For all of us who know Cody that doesn't come as much of a surprise.
