Next home game for the Fischtown Pinguins is October 23rd. Photo courtesy of the Fischtown Penguins.

It was a busy week of games, practices and lessons this past weekend with Cody Lampl and the Fischtown Pinguins in action, Colorado College opening their regular season with a pair of non conference games and our goalie clinic over the weekend. Lets get to some of the action that you may have missed.

It was a battle between the top two teams in the DEL2 standings this past Friday when Fischtown  faced off against Frankfurt. The game did not disappoint as both teams were held scoreless through regulation. Fischtown ended up winning the game 1-0 in a shootout. Here are the highlights.

In their second game of the weekend, the Pinguins were able to easily dispatch Heilbronner Faulken 7-3. Cody finished the game +2 with one goal. We'll post the highlights when they become available.

It was a tough weekend for Colorado College as they dropped both games at home to UMASS-Amherst. The team definitely deserved better on both nights but they will look to get on track when they travel to Lowell this weekend to face former CC Coach Norm Bazin and the River Hawks. Here are some highlights from the games.

We had a great turn out for our goalie clinic this past weekend. It was great to see a variety of ages and goalies representing numerous associations throughout Colorado. We want to thank everyone who came and look forward to doing it again in the near future.
