A Wrap Up Of April's MHH Colorado Goaltending Clinic Powered By Aspire Beverages

Today wrapped up the final April date for our Mountain High Hockey Colorado Goaltending Clinic powered by Aspire Beverages. For people new to MHH, every Sunday our goalie coaches Matt Zaba and Joe Howe have been hosting a goalie clinic at the Colorado Sports Center in Monument Colorado. The clinic is all about instruction, so we have capped it at 12 goalies to ensure there is a 2:1 ratio of goalies to coaches.

To start off today's session, Joe Howe took the lead and put the goalies through 10 minutes of movement drills to get the kids warmed up and ready for their stations. Today's practice plan was based around gloves saves. We worked on making gloves saves while staying on our feet, dropping to the ice and sliding. As always, we incorporated lots of skating into each drill to make sure we are always working on our footwork. After each goalie completed the 6 ten minute stations, we ended with a shootout with the instructors for some fun.

We want to say a huge thank you to all the goalies and their families for coming out and spending their Sunday's in April with us. We also want to say a huge thank you to Aspire Beverages for keeping our goalies hydrated after each session.

As a reminder, registration is now open for our May clinic dates. We will once again be going every Sunday in May (expect the 29th) at 10am. You can sign up for the month or select which days you want to attend. We will once again be capping the clinic at 12 goalies to ensure the highest quality of instruction possible. Limited spots remain so sign up soon so you don't miss out.

Here are a few photos from today's clinic.
