The idea for these jerseys came about on a ski trip with one of our good friends and former Colorado College teammates Jimmy Kilpatrick. Jimmy works for Gemini Athletic Wear based in Minnesota and we use him for all our jersey needs. I told him that with our camps, clinics and private lessons we want to create an environment where our hockey players feel like they are a part of a team instead of just dropping in for a quick training session. He threw this fully sublimated jersey concept at me where kids would get to pick their number and have their last name on the back. I wasn't able to get the idea out of my head. So after 2 months of planning and reaching out to local businesses explaining our vision our 2016 jersey is now complete.
A huge thanks to BestWay Disposals, Jimmy Johns, Pacific Green Coffee Roasters, Defender Goalie Masks and Vaughn Hockey for helping us to pull this off.
These jerseys will be available for our 2016 Goalie Camp in Colorado Springs.
