At the close of every camp, the last thing we tell our students is to thank their parents for taking the time out of their busy schedules to give them the opportunity to develop their hockey skills. Some of the first hockey memories we have is of our parents dressing us in our hockey gear at home before driving us to an early morning practice in the middle of winter. Those cold, early morning skates were where we first fell in love with the game and developed memories and friendships that have carried us through the rest of our lives. Mountain High Hockey Morning Skate was created to take us back to those times of early morning car rides with Mom and Dad on our way to practice, weekend tournaments and games of mini-sticks in hotel hallways. It is a way to say thank you to not only our parents for everything they sacrificed for us on our own hockey journey but for every hockey parent who is helping their own child along theirs.
