Walleye keep season alive with 5-4 win

After giving up an early power play goal, the Toledo Walleye were able to respond scoring 4 unanswered goals in the first period with their season on the line. The Walleye chased ECHL MVP and goalie of the year Jeff Jakaitis (4 GA on 12 shots) in just over 12 minutes of play and were able to hold on the rest of the way for a 5-4 victory in game 4 of the ECHL Eastern Conference Finals. Walleye playoff leading scorer Troy Schwab (21 points, 18 games) paced the offense on the night scoring 2 goals, 1  assist and a +4 rating. Neil Conway got the start over Jeff Lerg in the Walleye net and gave up 4 goals on 30 shots in the win. All the pressure is now on the Stingrays to close this series out in game 5 Saturday night because they definitely don't want to be traveling back to Toledo.
