Walleye lose Game 2 of ECF

The Toledo Walleye got off to a great start in Game 2 of the Kelly Cup Eastern Conference Finals. Kyle Bonis and Justin Mercier gave the Walleye a 2-0 lead heading into the first intermission. Unfortunately, the Walleye were not able to hold the lead as the Stingrays scored 3 unanswered goals in the second period and added another insurance marker early in the third to give the them a 4-2 lead. AJ Jenks was able to pull the Walleye within one in the closing minutes of the game but that was as close as the Walleye would get. Neil Conway got the start in the Walleye net and finished the night stopping 29 of 33 shots. The series now shifts to South Carolina with the Walleye down 0-2 in the series.
